There have been some recent changes to this park and many of the older stamps are now retired. The stamps currently available are listed here. More exploration for other stamps around this park may be warranted as my time here was limited.

Number of Cancellation Stamps:  7 (+ 2 Bonus Stickers)

OH-I-1 STAMP TEXT:

This stamp is available at the Boston Store which is just North of the Peninsula Depot in Boston, OH. The displays here are quite interesting including a slice of a tree showing the cuts for lumber and a great diorama of the river and period buildings.

OH-I-2 STAMP TEXT:

Oops, I messed up the date on this one, it should be the 6th. Anyway, this stamp is quickly disappearing since it has now been retired. It may still be available at the Headquarters - I was not able to check (15610 Vaughn Road, Brecksville, OH 44141-3018). I was able to obtain it by asking a Ranger at the Hunt Farm who dug it out for me. Originally, this stamp was available at each of the Visitor Centers, but none have it now except for the Hunt Farm where you'll need to ask, but it will be removed shortly.

OH-I-3 STAMP TEXT:

This stamp is available at the Canal Visitor Center which is the stopping point for the Canal Limited Train. The exhibits here are worth the stop and there are regular lock demonstrations in the Summer. In the Winter, they have a model display to show people who have ridden the train or come in big groups.

(Canal Visitor Center)

OH-I-4 STAMP TEXT:

The Happy Days Visitor Center is where you'll find this stamp. It's at the front desk behind the cash register. There are regular movie presentations here, but as I was short on time, I didn't have a good look around. I do like the name though - I didn't see the "Fonz" unfortunately. :P

OH-I-5 STAMP TEXT:

This stamp is available at the small building called the, "Hunt Farm Visitor Center", which is off the Towpath Trail. The parking lot here has a huge number of birds and worth a stop. Stamp OH-I-2 is available here as well, but it is retired and may be removed shortly. There is also a sticker available here for the asking.

OH-I-6 STAMP TEXT:

This stamp is available at the Cuyahoga Train Depot in Peninsula, OH. Head towards the Lock 29 parking area and you'll find the Depot. The staff wasn't too friendly here, but it's probably because of the number of people going through here to catch the train. The stamps are on the desk. By stamps, I mean they also include OH-I-7 which was originally available only on the train.

(Peninsula Depot)

OH-I-7 STAMP TEXT:

This stamp used to only be available on the train (Canal Ltd.), but is now available at the Peninsula, OH Depot along with the OH-I-6 stamp. The train ride is well worth it and a great way to see the sights without hiking the Towpath Trail. There is also a Bonus sticker available only on the train:

(One of the interesting sites on the train ride.)
